Crack testing agent diffusion red | Ardrox 9VF2
Item no: 311050
Aluminum crack testing is used to check for damage in the inner microstructure of the metal.Very often, large areas need to be checked for cracking in order to check whether other body parts have been affected by a crash. A typical example of this is the MacPherson strut area. The diffusion red penetrant is applied to the surface to be tested. Due to its properties and capillary force, it penetrates the finest cracks and pores and is drawn back to the surface after cleaning with the developer. Due to the high contrast to the white developer, even the smallest cracks and defects can be detected.Note: The liquids and agents have no negative properties on welds or on the surfaces on which they are used, they can be easily removed from the surfaces with the test agent cleaner without leaving any residue.Application: 1. Clean the surface thoroughly with cleaner Ardrox 9PR5.2. Apply diffusion red Ardrox 9VF2 and leave to work for approx. 10-20 minutes.3. Thoroughly clean the surface again with cleaner Ardrox 9PR5.4. Apply developer spray Ardrox 9D1B until reaction.5. Check the surface for cracks.

Temperature indicator stick red | 100 °C
Item no: 311062
Temperature indicators are temperature indicating pens with a calibrated melting point. The marking melts when a temperature of 100 °C is reached. It has a accuracy of +/- 1 % of the nominal temperature. For determining the surface temperature at:• Welding and metal fabrication• Preheating• Intermediate storage• Heat treatment after welding• Soft annealing• Stress relief annealingApplication:Mark the workpiece before or during heating. When the nominal temperature is reached, the marking melts (runs) clearly visible. This method is suitable for smooth surfaces.
