Flame coating set

The flame coating set is a surface silicification tool that operates on the principle of flame pyrolysis. In this process a gas mixture of propane, butane and PYROSIL consisting of silicon-organic compounds forms a nanometers thin but very dense and firmly adhering SiO2 layer on metal surfaces, glass, ceramics as well as plastics. The MGK container combusts in the flame, forming a dense, firmly adhering SiO2 layer.Product InformationThe PYROSIL® precursors are silicon-containing substances and are dosed into a natural gas or propane flame during PYROSIL® treatment (also known as silicatization). This process results in amorphous silicon dioxide, which deposits as an extremely thin (5 - 100 nm), yet extremely adherent layer on the material surface. This layer significantly improves adhesion, for example, of paints and coatings during subsequent painting or printing.
